Metal Detecting is a Fun Hobby
I got interested in metal detecting before the television shows that are out now and I
like going out with my nephews and little cousins and getting them excited about finding
ancient artifacts and maybe even some buried treasure. It’s a great educational tool and an easy way to get some exercise in.
There are many places to go metal detecting
and there are detecting groups and forums on the Facebook and other places on the web that talk about the hobby as well. Going detecting on the beach is one of my favorite hobbies. People have dropped all kinds of valuable treasures in the sand. From coins, lost rings, necklaces and watches, they are just
waiting for you to find them.
